Is this really a dog ...

or some other type of animal disguised as a dog?

I was working in the lab when I heard something in the tasting room. Dad had mentioned that an electrician was due shortly, so I looked out to see if this was the electrician. No it was Boo pawing her way forward. She was shaking uncontrollably and the only reason I could gather was that a storm was on the way. Sure enough 10 min later it hit. We even got some hail, I couldn't hear a thing in the main section of the winery. She wouldn't leave my side. Until I decided to walk home as soon as it had finished. She waited until it was completely over before venturing home.

The following day I headed down to feed and water the fowl. I realised one of the ducklings was outside the pen. I tried to convince Boo to help me round the duckling up, but she ran in the other direction. I knew the geese had terrified her - she even lets then eat her food which is unbelievable! Obviously ducks look like geese and therefore are terrifying too. Even small ones.

But the poor thing has been neglected lately, in this photo she thinks we are going for a walk, but I'm actually heading off to another vineyard to work. she excitedly jogged off when I left the house only to turn around and find I wasn't following her.
