Animals - Part 2

The ducklings are growing, unfortunately there are now only 8, one vanished - I hoped to find it on the dam with the other ducks and geese but alas.... The mother duck reminds me of Donald Duck, she always seems flustered (who can blame her with 8 offspring to look after on her own) especially when I take food or water down. She also charges at me as soon as I turn my back to go, as if she is pretending to the kids that she is chasing me away.

The mother pigeon is on another egg, the other two females seem uninterested in sitting on eggs.

I forgot about Timothy Thomas when listing the farm animals. He (I assume it's a male) is my sisters turtle. He is very small, his shell would be about 5 cm, and he is not very bright. He must be hand fed otherwise he cant find the food and likes to bite my fingers when I try to feed him.

Other animal, though definitely not pets are the kangaroos. There is a mob of them around, but most often I just see a mother and joey. While driving up a hill yesterday they nearly jumped out in front of me. I stopped. So did they. I managed to get a (bad) photo. I started up the hill again. So did they. I stopped again. The mother cleared the fence easily. The joey nearly face-planted, but righted himself at the crucial moment.
