Since Mat and KTs wedding I have spent most of my time at the vineyard. What is so strange about this is that I have actually been working. Shocking! I have been de-suckering and training grapevines. I'm not sure I am really meant for physical labour, but Dad really needed help so I couldn't refuse.
It has felt a little like I am 15 again, not only am I living with Dad, but I also babysat for a friend of my sisters. The younger child told me not to step on ants as they are gods special little teachers, I'm not sure if she meant to say creatures...
We have had a lot of rain at the vineyard, which isn't good and it looks like we have an outbreak of powdery mildew... not good, but one bright point is that Dads wine was listed in the worlds 100 most interesting new wines by some English guy.
Not much to say about it all, except I'm not really sure about this whole work thing.... but it is keeping me out of trouble so.....

Mat and Katie's wedding
I headed to Western Victoria for Mat and Katie's wedding.
I decided to drive as I wanted to visit a friend in Shepparton on the way back. Nearly 2000 kms round trip. Therefore I also arrived a day early not wanting to drive 7 hours on the day of the wedding. So the evening before I caught up with Mat, his family and a few friends.

The wedding day was very relaxed - for me, we ate, drank tea, chatted, the boys played with guns, we walked around the farm.... then got ready. I had to follow the other cars to the wedding as I had no idea where we were going. Unfortunately I decided I didn't want to go at 120 in a 60 zone so I lost them. After stopping at numerous places, with my very vague information about the wedding, I finally found my way.

The wedding was perfect, the sky was blue, Katie looked stunning and the boys looked gorgeous. It was absolutely wonderful.

At Gumnut Camp, there was a massive fire nearly two years
ago so all the trees now look like they have fur on.
