"Your blog is shite" - said when a friend called me while I was in Oslo after finding out I had also been to Edinburgh. So Im two weeks behind. Sorry. Will try harder, but I have to do the travelling to be able to write about it! So.....
After a tedious flight I arrived at Heathrow and was embraced by a long awaited hug! Gosia took me home, where Lukasz had a delicious meal waiting and a lovely glass of red, how Ive missed red wine! That started a weekend of lovely food, wonderful company and delicious wine and beers...
Ali celebrated her birthday the first weekend I was in London. It was a wonderful night. We met at a wine bar, moved to a pub, Dim Sum dinner, and on to a very trashy nightclub, before everyone went home and I met up with Josh, changing the whole tone of the evening - venue, music, people - we were privileged to see Axl Rose! Very enjoyable!
The weather has been amazingly warm since my arrival, so we spent Sunday walking around in the sunshine, visiting pubs! Also did a spot of shopping, had amazing sushi, said goodbye to Ali who was flying back to London and tried to organise my time in Europe.
Ill post photos when I get them off my laptop!
