French Immigration

As I was going through the French immigration booth at Gard du Nord, the customs officer flicked through my passport, when he came across the page containing stamps from my trip to Israel a few years back he started typing frantically* at his computer before allowing me to pass. However, more interesting was the fact that the only time I passed French immigration was when I was leaving France... a little late if I really was going to cause problems.....

* frantically may be a slight exaggeration.... but he was much more interested in me after he saw the stamps.

Here are some photos from the cemetery at Montparnasse, it isnt the one where Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde and Chopin are buries but it was interesting all the same and on the way to the Asian supermarket which was my destination on Monday.

At the cemetery

Phallic grave.... interesting, not sure quite what its saying about the guy buried underneath....

The strangest grave site I saw - but on the other hand it does stand out so there wouldnt be any trouble finding it!

This angel was drawn by the person whos grave it adorns

Simple but to the point.
