I didnt know I was going until about 1am. At which point Brooke told me she was going that day and the guy she went through wouldnt be making the trip until after my visa had expired. It was an awful trip, involving a1.5 hour ferry ride, a 4 hour bus trip - our driver managed to find every single pot hole and want to swerve around every single car in his path, the bus was meant to take 5 hours, needless to say I didnt sleep a wink even with the kindly donated pillow from Brooke - we then had our passports processed, waited in Malaysia for 30 min, back to Thailand, another 30 min, then the 4 hours bus trip back and finally the ferry... arriving back over 12 hours after we left.
Amazingly we both looked ok when I took a photo of us in Malaysia...
