Boo - the hunter

I have seen Boo chase hares many times. Once when she actually caught up the the hare, she paused then ran in the other direction. She had no idea what to do once she caught up to it. It was only a game for her. So when Xanthe found Boo carefully skinning and eating a hare we were a little concerned. Had she found it dead? Had it been baited? When she didn't get sick we throught maybe it was a young hare so didn't know to run away from Boo. Either that or Boo has finally worked out what to do when she wins the chase.
