I had to get up yesterday at 6am to start the guys picking grapes. At 2:30am I was still going.....
Have you seen the car that drives in front of huge machinery on the roads with a flashing light, well that was me between 2 and 2:30 this morning. The light is really annoying. I managed to drive correctly - difficult job when I was that tired. But the guy driving behind didn't, he was all over the road. Admittedly they had been working for 48 hours straight and I had only been going for 20 hours.....

Nice work on the 'sacrifice' on the eve on Easter :). Looked like those grapes could do with some water. They seem to have a wierd (in a good way) colour/texture.
They are all shriveling thanks to a very hot and dry March. There is so much we aren't harvesting as they have gone to raisin.... Its heartbreaking after such a fantastic Feb - weather-wise.
And its just the flash highlighting the fine layer of powder that develops on grapes...
