Playing tour guide to Choco

Well.... Gabs left and I thought I had a few days to myself before Choco arrived. So Dennis, Ohm and I met up with a friend of Dennis' for pre-lunch drinks.... ate a delicious Sunday Roast at The Pub. From there it was on to the Jungle Club. I was swimming in the pool when Ohm came over with my ringing phone, seems Choco had enough of Phuket and was about an hour away. In a slightly inebriated state he managed (with the aid of a number of calls) too find his way to the Jungle Club.

On Monday we had a swim and some lunch at fishermans village, Choco managed to eat most of his meal, but I think it was a little too hot for him... We headed home, stopping by Colins for a swim, that led to a few beers, which led to dinner at an Italian restaurant in Maenam followed by our first visit to Green Mango for some dancing and pool playing, so much for a quiet night after a messy Sunday!

On Tuesday we haded up to the Jungle Club as I had left my phone there on Sunday, had a beer up there, but decided not to visit Colin on the way home and had a very quiet night! Having claimed my phone I found I had missed a BBQ the night before and had an invitation to go fishing the following day, therefore a quiet night was much appreciated, had to get up at 8:30am!!!

The fishing trip was lots of fun, however very few fish were caught and those that were really should have been thrown back! We went with Dan and his three gorgeous kids, Oliver, Ben and Sam. After fishing we went home stopping by Colins for a drink. After dinner, Choco, Colin, Pan - a friend of Colins from Bangkok and I went to Green Mango for a dance. Pan and I had a wonderful Dance while Colin and Choco drank.

We took Chris to Mangrove on Thursday night, had a BBQ and a quiet night on Friday - I had a chest cold, so was very well-behaved in the face of a very debaucherous evening! On Saturday night Colin, Tawan, Man, Choco and I went to Q Bar. Only real bar on the island - it even has walls!!! Which I dont like as it means cigarette smoke stays in the bar! After Q Bar Choco and I went to Green Mango - just for something different - and met up with my friend Pan (female). On Sunday we had our weekly Roast with Dan, his boys and some other friends and then we went back to Dans place for a few more drinks. The place he and the boys were staying at was absolutely amazing! It consisted of multiple rooms, with and without walls under a common roof, with an incredible view and a lovely but unfortunately green swimming pool! On Monday Choco and I cooked at home, whole fish are so cheap here it is unbelievable, so we just had to fry some up with some vegetable. It was so simple but so good. And probably only cost us $1 each!

On Tuesday Choco headed to Lamai to stop this Muay Thai course, and I took a deep breath and relaxed.
